FORT WORTH, Texas? ? Aaryn Ellenberg scored 26 points and Joanna McFarland had 24 points and 11 rebounds Wednesday night to lead No. 16 Oklahoma to an 85-79 victory over TCU.
Morgan Hook had 13 points and 12 assists. Her three-point play with 1:33 to play put the Sooners (13-2, 3-0 Big 12) ahead 79-77, and they maintained the lead after that.
?For anybody who thinks women?s basketball isn?t pretty, that was pretty,? said Oklahoma coach Sherri Coale. ?A lot of guys making a lot of shots. Just really sound basketball.?
Ellenberg was 6 of 15 from behind the 3-point line, accounting for all but one of Oklahoma's long-range baskets. The Sooners shot 49 percent from the field.
Natalie Ventress led TCU (7-7, 0-3) with 27 points. Zahna Medley had 11 points and 13 assists for the Horned Frogs, who led 44-39 at halftime.
C. Missouri 63, NSU 52
WARRENSBURG, Mo. ??The RiverHawks (8-5, 3-2 MIAA) led 49-43 with under 8 minutes to go but NSU kept the advantage at 49-43, but the shots stopped falling and the Jennies (11-1, 3-1) ended the contest on a 20-3 run to end NSU?s four-game win streak.
Central Missouri moved to 8-0 at home this season.
Senior guards Taylor Lewis and Tosha Tyler both shot 7-for-13 from the field and combined for 36 points. NSU shot 40 percent from the field (22-for-55) and 33 percent from downtown (6-for-18). The team led in steals (10-5) and points in the paint (26-16).
BreAnna Lewis led Central Missouri with 25 points. Keuna Flax dropped 21, and Quinnecia Twine added 10. Nicole Caddell was 0-for-7 but grabbed 10 rebounds.
??When we were able to get leads, (Central Missouri) answered by making great shots. They shot the three very well,? NSU coach Larry Gipson said. ?We weren?t able to get separation on them. We wore down a little bit at the end, and they were able to finish stronger than us.?
The RiverHawks will next face Southwest Baptist at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 12 in Bolivar, Mo.

TULSA ? Taleya Mayberry had a team-leading 21 points, five assists and a block in 34 minutes on the court, leading three Hurricane (5-9, 0-1 Conference USA) in double figures.
Tiffani Couisnard and Kadan Brady each added 14 points, while Loren McDaniel pulled down a team-high nine rebounds.? Jessica McQuin picked up two steals in the contest.
Kayla Thornton had half of UTEP?s first-half points (16) and finished with 23 points, 12 rebounds, two steals and a block for UTEP (13-1, 1-0).
